Recipes
Sudder isn’t in my share sheet
In the share sheet, tap ‘More’ (at the end of the row of apps). Turn on Sudder and drag it to the front, and it will be there from now on.
A recipe isn’t recognized well
Open the recipe and tap Edit to complete it. If a link doesn’t work, copy the recipe text and paste it into Sudder. Feel free to send us the link so we can improve recognition.
Can I save a recipe from a cookbook?
Yes. Take a photo of the page and choose it in Sudder, or share the photo from Photos to Sudder.
Apple Intelligence
Sudder says Apple Intelligence isn’t available
Check in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri that it’s on and the model has finished downloading. Not every device supports Apple Intelligence. Sudder works without it: recognizing recipes and planning with a sentence then use text recognition on your device.
Planning and cooking
Sudder picks dishes I don’t want
Adjust your preferences in Settings › Planning, or say it in your sentence: “no fish”, “something quick on Wednesday”. You can also swap or move any day yourself.
I don’t get any nudges
Check that notifications are on in Settings › Notifications › Sudder, and choose which nudges you want in Sudder under Settings › Notifications.
The timer doesn’t go off when my device is locked
Sudder asks for permission for timers the first time. If you declined, turn it on in Settings › Apps › Sudder.
Together and iCloud
My family doesn’t see the changes
Make sure everyone is signed in to iCloud and iCloud is on for Sudder. Changes usually appear within seconds, sometimes only after reopening the app.
How do I set up Sudder on a new device?
Install Sudder and sign in with the same iCloud account. Your recipes and meal plan come along automatically.
Sudder Plus
I bought Sudder Plus but don’t see it
In Sudder, go to Settings › Sudder Plus and tap Restore Purchase. If you use Family Sharing, check that purchase sharing is on in your Family Sharing settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Sudder. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the end of your period.
I’d like a refund
Purchases go through Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
How do I delete all my data?
Remove Sudder from your devices and delete Sudder’s data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage. We don’t hold any of your data ourselves.
